Days before the Ice Storm of 2014 hit the CSRA, preparation was underway to help the communities navigate what was threatening to be an historic event. After the storm hit plans went into action as communities began to clean-up and look for ways to recover. Mayor Deke Copenhaver and Columbia County Emergency Management Director, Pam Tucker, were front and center as recovery efforts were coordinated. Both leaders sat say down with Brad Means on the set of The Means Report to talk about how the recovery is going, share their plans, and commend the citizens who reached out to their neighbors – showing just how strong the CSRA is.
