The storm debris removal plan has been established in Columbia County with zones for certain areas. Emergency Management Agency Director, Pam Tucker, released the zoning map this morning. For a look at which zone you're located in please click here:
On Thursday, crews started working in zones 13 and 6 with a total of 6,786 cubic yards of debris removal picked up. Friday morning, crews are back working in those two zones.
EMA Director, Pam Tucker, is also reminding the public of the "Columbia County Day of Service" which will be taking place Saturday, February 22. The program is designed to help pick up debris removal at the homes of the elderly and disabled around Columbia County. If you're interested in participating, please meet at 9am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 835 North Belair Road in Evans.
