Trenton, SC -

He's the police chief in Trenton, South Carolina and no one on these mean streets is better than Chief Albert "Deke" Tanks.

"31 years here," he Tanks said. "You've see it all," we commented. "I've seen a lot of things here I don't want to see again," answered the Chief.

But, people like to see the show "Cops", and when it comes to cops in Trenton, Chief Tanks would be the star. It's a very small department.

"How many officers other than you?" we asked. "Myself," he answered. "You are the only one?" we continued. "I'm the only one, yes," answered the Chief.

On this episode, the Chief patrols east Trenton. They've had some problems here in the past, with cows, but the Chief cleaned up that issue.

"The only problem we had, with the cows, they would get out and we had to help get them back in," Tanks said.

Now, "Cops" is an action show, so is that radio ever going to squawk?

"No, if you're looking for action, I don't think it would ever come here. We might have a call ever so often," said Chief Tanks.

The highlights on "Trenton Cops"...a not so suspicious person entering the library. They might be up to no good, but probably not.

What's this bus doing? The Chief takes action beeped at it.

Going head-on with a tractor, but it's getting away...

There's a fleeing suspect. "Chief, let's chase him," we urged. "That's one of the people who walk," said Tanks.

Trenton was good to the Chief, but not for an exciting "Cops" show. No chases, no comical interrogations...but this is "Cops" Trenton, South Carolina style.

You want to sing the song, no "Bad Boys, Bad Boys, What You Going To Do When They Come For You. What You Going To Do When The Chief Comes For You.." Sing Chief...

But, the Chief wasn''t going to go all Waylon Jennings, and sing the theme song. "I really don't sing that well," he said.

But, he keeps the streets of his town quiet and that's not bad boys at all.
