KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men’s basketball team moved to No. 9 in the latest NABC/Division II rankings, which were released Tuesday afternoon.
The rankings reflect games played through Sunday, Jan. 26.
The Pacers are currently 17-2 overall, including a 9-0 record against Peach Belt Conference competition.
Leading the way for head coach Vince Alexander’s team is Ronald Zimmerman, who pours in 16.8 points per game. He ups his tally to 17.8 points a contest in league play. DeVontae Wright hits for 14.4 points per night and pushes it to 18.1 points a game during conference competition. Paul Larsen accounts for 12.3 points and 8.4 rebounds a game. In PBC play, Larsen ups his totals to 12.9 points and 9.8 boards a contest.
Alvin Brown leads Division II with 77 total blocks and with blocks per game (4.5).
USC Aiken has reeled off 12 straight victories heading into Wednesday night’s road game at Flagler (7:30 p.m.).
The squad was also No. 6 in the latest Bennett Rankings, which were released Monday.
The Pacers will return home Saturday to face GRU Augusta at 7:30 p.m.
