The world's largest consumer of tobacco-- is on the verge of banning smoking in public areas. China wants to make that happen by the end of the year. According to the world health organization-- one out of every three cigarettes smoked in the world -- is in China. Health experts estimate tobacco-related diseases cause more than a million deaths each year.
This could be a guinness world record for the largest sushi mosaic. More than a hundred sushi chefs joined forces in hong kong to set the record. The mosaic, made of more than 20-thousand pieces of sushi, covered more than 123-square feet. The event took place in an ice arena to keep the uncooked fish cold. The sushi is being donated to the needy.
A banana thief is on the loose in Connecticut. Police say he used his car to steal just *one* banana. Investigators say he used his car to back into the building to create an opening. He didn't make off with any money....he picked up a banana and ate it... then he took off. Police are asking for help identifying the man.
