Over 400 people signed up to run and walk for a good cause today at Lake Olmstead.
People and dogs of all shapes and sizes gathered at the starting line and they were off!
It's the 4th annual Dog Gone Wild 5k run/walk to benefit Hopeful Hounds, Inc. and The American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue.
For one running veteran this event is one of his favorites.
Rocky Soderberg of Sumter, SC says, "This is one of the charities I like. I also happen to be 71 years of age and I run in 35 to 40 races per year and I try to base those on what particular charity's sponsoring the race."
Today's charity usually raises over a thousand dollars after all expenses are paid. For more information go to hopeful hounds.org.
