The American Legion's System Worth Saving (SWS) Task Force representatives will hold a town hall meeting for local veterans to discuss the quality of their health care at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center
The meeting will take place Wednesday, January 29th at 7:00pm, at the American Legion Post 205 on Highland Avenue in Augusta.
Each year, SWS Task Force members conduct site visits to about 15 VA medical centers across the country to evaluate the quality of health-care being provided to military veterans.
In conjunction with these site visits, town hall meetings are hosted by local American Legion posts, for veterans and concerned members of the community, to share experiences about the quality of treatment and services at the local VA medical center.
Feedback from these town hall meetings is used by our SWS teams in formulating some of their questions and discussion topics with key administrators, medical staff and patients at the medical centers.
