Posted: Updated:

Charlecia Williams, an 11th grader at Butler High School, has been chosen to interview at the 2014 Governor's Honor Program for her achievement in AP Physics.

She is one of only two students chosen in the county.   She will travel to Atlanta to interview on Saturday, January 25th.

The Georgia Governor's Honors Program is a four-week, summer residential program designed to provide intellectually gifted and artistically talented high school students challenging and enriching educational opportunities not usually available during the regular school year.

High School sophomores and juniors in public, private, and home schools are eligible for nomination in one of 20 areas.
