Cold morning leads to rain in the forecast

Posted: Updated:

Increasing high cloudiness by afternoon, with warmer readings ranging from the upper 50s to near 60. Winds will come from the east to southeast early.

We are on track for Saturday's timing of this next storm system. Warm front will lift ahead and lift across our southern counties, with just enough lift for maybe a few thunderstorms. We are not looking for severe storms. Rain shield will arrive around sunrise through most of the day and end before sunset. RPM has come in with .6", while WPC's QPF (Quantitative Precipitation Forecasts) around 1"+.

Sunday morning clouds will give way to partly cloudy, breezy, and gusty conditions, with the rest of the week looking dry, with very pleasant readings. Now the following weekend looks wet for sure but more data needed.
