White House pastry chef creates 300-lb. ginger bread house

Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The White House's State Dining Room has hosted foreign dignitaries since 1874, but in December it hosts a different, yet important holiday mainstay, a ginger bread house.

The White House pastry chef created the 300-pound replica of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

It includes a miniature Bo and Sunny sitting on the front steps, and a functioning replica of the North Lawn fountain.
