GREENVILLE, N.C. - Police need your help to identify a person of interest in a car break-in.

Detectives say the person was caught on surveillance video at the E. 10th Street Food Lion, where he used a stolen check to purchase a pack of cigarettes and obtain $50 cash. That same check was stolen from a vehicle parked in the Bellamy/Kittrell Farms area.

There have been about 18 car break-ins in the area vicinity since September.
