Lawrenceville, GA -

After more than a decade, and a handful of delays, Edward Kramer finds out his fate.

The co-founder of Dragon Con pleaded guilty to child molestation charges. The wheelchair-bound 52-year-old is avoiding prison, but he's been sentenced to house arrest and to pay a six-digit fine.

Also under this deal, Kramer can not leave Gwinnett County for the next 20 years, for any reason, without permission from the court.

The co-founder of a science fiction convention, Dragon Con, has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of child molestation.

Edward Kramer pleaded guilty Monday in a Gwinnett County court. The 52-year-old Kramer was charged with molestation in 2000, but was declared unfit to stand trial because of a spinal condition.

Kramer was accused of molesting three boys between 1996 and 2000. He was put on house arrest and ordered to have no contact with children under 16.

He was given permission to travel in 2008 and authorities say he was found in 2011 in a Connecticut motel room with a 14-year-old boy.

Kramer was sentenced to five years in prison and will receive credit for 26 months served. The remainder of his sentence will be spent on house arrest. Under this plea deal, Kramer can not leave Gwinnett County for the next 20 years, for any reason, without permission from the court.
