OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. -  A 14 year-old Seneca boy died early Friday morning when troopers say he crashed after not stopping for police in Oconee County.

Jesse Logan Hannah, 14, was pronounced dead a little over an hour after the accident on Highway 24. The Oconee County Coroner says Hannah was a ninth grade student at West Oak High School.

Three other teenagers were injured in the accident on Highway 24 at 3:30 a.m.

The coroner says Hannah was driving a 1999 Mercury and didn't stop for a Westminster Police after an apparent traffic violation. That led to a chase with Hannah reportedly driving east on Highway 24 when he ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

The driver was thrown from the car.

Hannah was pronounced dead at Oconee County Medical Center at 4:46 a.m. He died from multiple trauma according to the coroner. An autopsy will be performed Friday.

Two of the other three teens were ejected from the car according to SCHP troopers. Two 16-year-olds were transported to Oconee County Medical Center. The coroner says reports show their injuries weren't life-threatening.

A fourth teenager - age 14- was uninjured.

The Highway Patrol MAIT team, Westminster Police and Oconee County Coroner's Office are investigating the accident.
