(Augusta, GA)— Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) partnered with America's Adopt A Solider to renovate and upgrade the hospitality suite as the class project for 255S Information Protection Technicians Warrant Officers Fort Gordon class. The project was made possible by sponsor-partnerships with Dell, Augusta Fort Gordon Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Master Craft Flooring, and BoozAllen Hamilton, and Ashley Furniture . The Military Hospitality Suite now offers a new big screen TV, new furniture, a kids play area, lending library, and new computer stations!
A ribbon cutting will be held on Monday, November 25th at 11:00 a.m. in front of the Military Hospitality Suite located inside the main terminal building.
"It was a privilege to work with the dedicated team at Augusta Regional Airport and the students at Fort Gordon to redesign, and furnish the Military Family Lounge." Said Mary Keeser, founder and chairman of America's Adopt A Soldier. "This Lounge will provide a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for our service members to relax with Family and Friends."
