Augusta, GA -

Archith Seshadri joined WJBF News Channel 6 in May 2010 as a Digital Journalist. Archith investigated the Augusta YDC, covered the Knob Hill HOA controversy and filed many "Tech Check" segments on business/technology/social media topics. Archith played an integral part in the community and first covered Columbia County, and ultimately expanding his reach to also file several reports in Burke County, Richmond County and Aiken County. He was one of the first TV reporters on the scene of the deadly Thomson plane crash. Archith also reported on the 3 deadly officer involved shootings in the CSRA.

In April 2012, Archith launched the weekend edition of Good Morning Augusta, after filling in on the anchor desk for nearly 2 years. It was the first weekend morning newscasts in the Augusta market. He was one of the first Asian American anchors in the CSRA. Archith has field anchored from the Masters as well.

Archith wore several hats in the newsroom including reporter, anchor, producer and web/social media editor. Archith leaves the Garden City for the Queen City where he'll work for the new Fox O and O in Charlotte. We wish WJBF News Channel 6's Archith Seshadri the very best in his future endeavors.
