It's a shot in the arm for some of Augusta arts groups,
The Greater Augusta Arts Council held its annual legislative luncheon to celebrate more than $72,000 in grants being awarded to 14 organizations. The money comes from the city and officials say demonstrates Augusta's support of its arts and culture.

Some of the biggest grants of $7,000 went to Symphony Orchestra Augusta, Jessye Norman School of the Arts, and the Morris Museum of Art.
