Investigators Say Warrenville Vehicle Fire Is Suspicious

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is investigating a vehicle fire that occurred Wednesday night.

Investigators say, deputies and Graniteville-Vaucluse-Warrenville (GVW) Fire Department personnel responded around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday night to the 200 block of Verdery Street in reference to a vehicle fire.

Witnessed told deputies that the fire was started by a Molotov cocktail, but did not know who had thrown it. It was discovered that a second Molotov cocktail was near another vehicle and was moved before starting another fire.
