Augusta commissioners will get back to work on a plan to redevelop downtown.
Commissioners will debate Monday whether to designate nearly 600 acres of the Central Business District a "slum area".
The designation is needed to issue tax-free bonds to renovate the Augusta Municipal Building.
City lawyers say Commissioners have the option to remove the term "slum area" from the official documents and reduce the size of the development area plan to include just the area around the Municipal Building.
