It is almost time for the annual James Brown Turkey Give. Click for information on how to register to take part.
Registration to take part will be held each Saturday beginning on October 26th and ending on November 16th at Dyess Park on James Brown Boulevard, in Augusta.
To be eligible, registrants must bring a valid state-issued ID and a utility bill for proof of address (i.e. a power bill, a home phone bill, or a signed lease). In order to be eligible to receive a turkey, you must be registered. Only 1 turkey will be given per household.
The Annual James Brown Turkey Give is will be held Monday, November 25th, at 8:30 a.m. at Dyess Park.
