WJBF News Channel 6 has learned a second raccoon has tested positive in Aiken.

According to the Aiken Department of Public Safety, the raccoon was captured on Wednesday in the area of Cherry Hills Drive, in Aiken.

South Carolina's Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) website has information on rabies for those who may have come in contact with this animal or have questions in general.
