WNCN's Blitz visits Knightdale HS for pep rally

KNIGHTDALE, N.C. -

For this week's Friday Blitz pep rally, WNCN Today visited the Knights of Knightdale High School.

WNCN's Page Crawford was on the scene as enthusiastic students came out to show support for their school ahead of Friday night's game against Garner High School.

The Knightdale band was on display, as were cheerleaders, the football team and, other student athletes.

Knightdale is currently 7-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play. The Knights are averaging 33 points per game while giving up on average only 14 points per game. Knightdale's only loss was to Heritage with a score of 23-22. Garner will serve as a threat as the Trojans are 7-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play.

The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Knightdale.
