Flu season is almost here and doctors say the best way to keep that bug at bay is to get a flu shot.
You can roll up sleeve at your doctor's office or at your neighborhood pharmacy.
In Columbia County, students and teachers can even get the vaccination at school.
The school nurse, Judy Griner, had this to say, "Our schools all offer free flu vaccine to all the students whether they have insurance or not.
This is a time we can all gather together before the flu really hits. We also offer it to staff too if they're interested.
Prevention is the best".
The flu season is off to a slow start.
So far, there have been isolated cases in Alabama, South Carolina and Texas.
