A man wanted for Carjacking in Aiken County has been arrested in Richmond County.

Aiken County Sheriff's Office investigators tell us, they were informed by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office that they have arrested 49-year-old John Henry Blocker on the outstanding charges for the multiple carjackings around 4:50 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Information shared by Richmond County Sheriff's Office revealed that Blocker was arrested without incident.

Blocker has been booked into the Richmond County Detention Center where he will be held until he can appear before an extradition hearing.

Blocker has 2 warrants for Carjacking and 2 warrants for Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime. These charges stem from two carjacking incidents that happen on October 15th and October 20th in Aiken County. Richmond County has also recovered the victim's car from the incident that happened on Sunday, October 20th. Blocker also has an additional warrant for his arrest for Receiving Stolen Goods from a previous incident that occurred on September 10th. These cases are still under investigation.

An Aiken County Man Already wanted for carjacking has been implicated in a second carjacking case.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office reported on October 15th that warrants had been issued for the arrest of 49-year-old John Henry Blocker for Carjacking and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violence Crime.

Sunday, October 20th, around 6:20 p.m., Blocker was identified as the suspect committing another carjacking in the parking lot of the Bi-Lo in Clearwater.

The victim informed responding deputies that when she parked her car near the grocery store, the suspect approached her, pointed a gun, and told her to exit the vehicle. The victim reportedly ran towards the entrance of the store when she saw her vehicle being driven off by the suspect. The victim's car is a gold 2000 Nissan Maxima, with SC License Plate IIA739. Additional warrants for Carjacking and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violence Crime have been obtained Monday by investigators. Blocker also has an additional warrant for his arrest for Receiving Stolen Goods from a previous incident that occurred on September 10th, 2013.

The public is urged to use caution and be aware of their surroundings. The public should consider Blocker to be armed and dangerous. The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is asking help from the public in locating a man wanted on Carjacking and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime charges.

The suspect is identified as 49-year-old John Henry Blocker.

Sunday night, around 11:30 p.m., The Aiken County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from the victim who told deputies that the suspect flagged him down on Outing Club Road. The victim told deputies the suspect pointed his gun at the victim, threatened him and forced him out of his car.

According to the initial incident report, the suspect fired several shots and fled the area in the car belonging to the victim.

Blocker has an additional warrant for his arrest for Receiving Stolen Goods from a previous incident that occurred on September 10th.
