Is the Kimmel and Kanye fight finally over?  Brandi Hitt has the details in the showbiz wrap.

"I don't know if you know this... but a lot of people think you're a jerk..." said Jimmy Kimmel, Late Night Talk Show Host.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" got a rating's boost Wednesday night, when he and Kanye West "talked through" their recent spat. 

Kimmel scored one of his highest demo ratings ever since moving to the 11:35 p-m time-slot.

The American Music Award nominations are out and newcomers, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are the top contenders with six nominations.

Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake are up for 5 awards - each. The AMA's air on ABC, November 24th.

And, Hollywood's A-list continues to weigh in on the government shut down in Washington DC.

"I think it's shameful, honestly. And I think they should give up their salaries as well," said Julianne Moore, actress.

"Yeah, it's Looney Tunes and not Merry Melodies," said Robert Redford, Actor.

"The whole thing just seems like crazy theatrics," said Ellen Page, Actress.

Paul McCartney performed a *surprise* concert in New York's Times Square, Thursday for fans.  The singer - songwriter is promoting his new album - "New."

And, new in theaters Friday, Tom Hanks film, "Captain Phillips."  And -- Machete is back... In "Machete Kills."
