How Far Is Too Far? Neighbors Complain Over Halloween Display

Maryland -

Now to a Halloween horror show pitting neighbor against neighbor.  It's a fight over an annual display that some say has gone too far.  ABC's David Kerley has more from Maryland.

"Can you reach them?"  asked Donna Kerr, Owner, The Haunted Garden.

They're pulling the skeletons out of the shed to turn this, into this,  "Haunted Garden."

The holidays bring out decorations all over the country...but some of us, like Donna Kerr, do it big.

"This is going to be our cemetery, we'll have lots of skeletons," said Kerr.

But this 4th year of "The Haunted Garden" is coming to a skreeching halt neighbors complaining about all the visitors, the traffic, parked cars.

"I think it's a great event I don't think it has put any undue burden on the neighborhood. My supporters across the street they support it." said Kerr.

Does it sound like Kerr is stuck in a sitcom.....?

ABC's Modern Family mom, Claire, scared her neighbors.  But even with a restraining order against her, Donna Kerr is not playing dead.

Kids swarmed her yard with protest signs to open the garden this spooky season.  Kerr and her friends say they won't give up.

"Did you ever think you're a little nuts on this thing?" asked David Kerley, Reporting.

"No, it didn't start out this way but units just people really love it and it's such a good time," replied Kerr.

With an army of neighborhood kids and a lawyer, she's going to fight to open her garden.
