Man found dead in 21st Street home in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

The Muscogee County coroner says a man found dead Thursday afternoon on 21st Street appears to have died of natural causes.

After talking with neighbors, Coroner Buddy Bryan says the man had been dead on the floor a couple of days and people were just stepping over him, our media partner the Ledger Enquirer reports.

An autopsy is planned for Saturday at the crime lab in Atlanta.

The man's identity has not been released .
