    3 Dead In Aiken County House Fire

    Three people are dead this morning after a devastating house fire in Aiken County.
    Fire officials will now try to find out what sparked the blaze on the 22 hundred block of old edgefield highway.

The 3 victims of a deadly Aiken County fire have now been identified by the Aiken County Coroner's Office.

Coroner Tim Carlton tells WJBF News Channel 6, the 3 victims are identified as 65-year-old Diane Warren, 62-year-old Calvin Warren, and 89-year-old Helen Williams, who is identified as Diane Warren's mother.

Carlton says, autopsy results revealed that all three of the victims died from carbon monoxide poisoning and thermal injury. After investigation of these deaths and the autopsy findings, Carlton say the manner of death is to be ruled accidental.

According to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton, one male and two females were killed as a result of the early morning house fire in Aiken County. The victims, however, have not been identified at this time.

An autopsy has been scheduled for 10am Wednesday morning in Newberry, South Carolina. Results are expected to be available late Wednesday afternoon.

At this time the circumstances and the cause of the fire are being considered "suspicious". The origin of the fire is being investigated by SLED Arson and the Aiken County Sheriff's Arson investigators. The death and identification process is being conducted by the Aiken County Coroner's Office.

Just after 2am the fire was discovered and 911 was called. The bodies were recovered around noon Tuesday.

Three people are dead after a devastating house fire Tuesday morning in Aiken County. Fire officials will now try to find out what sparked the blaze on the 2200 of Old Edgefield highway.

7 different departments responded, but when they got here it was just too dangerous for fire crews to go inside.

A 911 call was believed to be made from someone inside the house. The names of the 3 victims have not been released.
