Traffic is moving again on I-20 after a Thursday night incident.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, a man jumped off the Walton Way Extension bridge onto I-20. According to officers, he was discussing something with a roommate, climbed over the ledge, then jumped down. A driver coming down the I-20 on-ramp called 911.

The man has been transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center. There is no word yet on his condition.

Officials say the roadways are back open excluding the Bobby Jones Exit Ramp to I-20. This ramp will be reopened shortly. Traffic is currently flowing normal.

If you're trying to get on Interstate 20 going Eastbound towards Walton Way Extension, you will not be able to at this moment because it is now being blocked off.

We have very little confirmed details or police reports at the moment of why the intersection is being blocked off.

Count on News Channel 6 as we have a crew on the scene, and we will give you the latest as soon as we get it into our newsroom.
