HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL (WFLA) -

Officials are looking for a shooter who fired at a pickup passenger at the traffic light on Causeway Boulevard and U.S. Highway 301 Monday evening and fled.

Hillsborough County deputies said, the shooter in a newer model white SUV pulled up to the Ford F150, that stopped at the traffic light at US 301 going east on Causeway.

The man fired at the Ford's passenger William Siago, 45, of Brandon, striking him in the leg, chest and arm, according to the police report. The shooter got back into his car and left, going south on US 301.

Paramedics took the passenger to Tampa General Hospital. Doctors said his injuries were non-life threatening.

The pickup driver, Kristen Craig, 45, told police she might have cut the suspect off while driving. She thinks this was an act of road rage, according to the police report.

Officials are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
