BREAKING ON 6: Bomb Threat at Beech Island Plant

WJBF News Channel Six has learned the call came in around 12:20 this afternoon. Authorities are still actively searching the building for any threats. However, employees are starting to go back inside the facility.

The plant covers more than one million square feet. So far, nothing has been found.

We will continue to update this story as investigators release more information.


Aiken County authorities have confirmed there is a bomb threat at the Kimberly-Clark plant in Beech Island, South Carolina.

Employees at the plant have been evacuated.

Details are very limited at this time. WJBF News Channel Six has a crew on the way to the scene. We will keep you updated as we learn more information.
