A big decision from the F-D-A.
The agency has just announced that it will approve the use of Botox to treat crow's feet.
Abc's Reena Ninan has the story.
It's been Michelle Fox's secret weapon in the war against those wrinkles around the eyes...crow's feet.
"To me it is the best anti-aging treatment out there."
Her magic potion? Botox. Now getting approval from the food and drug administration as the first temporary treatment for crow's feet.
"I think it makes it more comfortable in people minds."
Botox has been FDA approved for wrinkles since 2002....for underarm sweating and even migraines.
"Once it's approved and legally available in this country we can use it in lots of different ways that may not be directly FDA approved."
And there's reason why doctors like Doris Day feel confident with Botox treatments.
"Botox is one of the single most powerful, reliable most highly studied drugs available on the market today."
And for people those? People hard to reverse the aging process...this treatment is just simple beauty science.
"Prevent it now you do it for cavities so why not do this from preventing lines from forming?"
