The U.S. auto sales are bouncing back strong than ever. G-M, Ford, and Chrysler Group all reported double-digit increases in August. Japanese rivals Toyota and Nissan also reported large sales gains. Overall sales came in at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 16.1 million, up from 14.5 million, one year ago. It marks the first time the industry has passed the 16 million mark since before the recession started in late 2007.
