It's a day this World War II veteran never thought he'd live to see: a treasured keepsake returned from his time at war.
92-year-old Jahue Mundy says he just sat down and cried when he received his lost dog tags.
The veteran met with the couple who found his tags on Wednesday.
They dug them up while gardening in a backyard in Indianapolis, Indiana, but how they got back to the state is a mystery.
"I lost them some place in China. I had been sending silk to my wife ... I can't think of anything else."
Mundy has now given his dog tags to his son, so he can keep them safe at -his- home!
