Video captures car break-in in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Fayetteville detectives are still looking for a man who broke into a car, as caught on surveillance video.

The man approaches the driver's door of the SUV with a flashlight, then opens the door and begins rummaging through the car.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of suspect is asked to contact Detective C. Hurley with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 988-0016 or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).

The break-in continues a disturbing pattern of car thefts in the area. Police said there have been numerous reports of break-ins in the Hoke Loop Road corridor. The one police are publicizing was caught on video.
