An update now, to a story we brought you recently about a little boy facing a leg amputation, due to Proteus Sydrome.
2 and 1/2 year old Trey Mills is still smiling, just three weeks after the surgery to remove his left leg.
Trey's mother, Summer Crewsonberry, says her little boy is getting along well.
"He is doing GREAT! He is slowly healing and is back to his normal, happy spirits."
Trey will be fitted for his prothetic leg in five weeks.
Here's a reminder about a fundraiser coming up to help a little boy who's facing a really big operation very soon.
2 1/2 year old Trey Mills has to have his leg amputated in three weeks, because of Proteus Syndrome.
Then this cutie will eventually get a prosthetic leg and one day ride a bike- that's his dream right now!
