There are big plans on the way for a theme park in Georgia.
Six Flags Over Georgia will undergo a major expansion project.
Park officials have a press conference scheduled for Thursday to detail the plans.
This development is the largest investment in the park's 46-year history. Six Flags over Georgia is located in Austell, west of Atlanta.
Another big theme park expansion announced this week.
Cedar Fair Entertainment officials say the company will spend $50-million to expand Carowinds.
New rides and attractions, upgraded food locations and infrastructure improvements are part of the plans.
