SPARKcon is coming back to downtown Raleigh in September for its eighth year.
The annual festival showcases creativity and talent that celebrate cultural momentum across the Triangle.
More than 200 shows, acts and exhibits will converge on Fayetteville Street beginning Thursday, Sept. 12, through Sunday, Sept. 15.
SPARKcon is organized by the Visual Arts Exchange, a Raleigh nonprofit whose mission is to support emerging artists.
"Each year, SPARKcon brings more and more attention to the growing arts community in Raleigh," said Sarah Powers, executive director of the Visual Art Exchange. "We are excited at the growing number of participants and spectators, and cannot wait to showcase their deep creativity and talent in this year's festival."
The annual event was created in 2006.
