14-year-old boy charged with trafficking heroin

HENDERSON, N.C. -

A 14-year-old boy in Henderson has been arrested on a charge of trafficking heroin.
    
Police told The Daily Dispatch of Henderson that the boy approached undercover officers doing a drug sting Wednesday and offered to sell the drugs. He was arrested and taken to a juvenile jail.
    
Investigator did not release the boy's name because of his age.
    
Police continue to investigate the incident and more charges against more people are possible.
