A Georgia baby is back home with his mom after a scary ordeal. Authorities say a friend of the baby's mom kidnapped the boy and later led deputies on a high-speed chase on interstate 75... with the baby in the car. The suspect even tried to ram police at one point. The dramatic chase ended when Samantha Barrett  blew a tire and jumped out of the car then took off. The 8 month old month was pulled from the back seat by a deputy and is expected to be okay.

A paralympic is denied a chance to compete... apparently she's not paralyzed enough. The international paralympic committee is now defending its decision not to let gold medalist victoria arlen swim in the world championships. The board ruled arlen ineligible because she may be able to use her legs some day. The organization says its medical experts could not find evidence proving arlen is permanently impaired, so she was barred from competing

Take a look at this. A high school basketball player in Chicago sets a new unofficial basketball record over the weekend. He made 135 three-point shots in five minutes. His proud brother posted the feat to the world on you-tube.

Scientists at the smithsonian in washington have discovered a new species of mammal.
This cute, furry animal is called an Olinguito (OH-LIN-GHEE-TOE).  It's considered a small member of the raccoon family and lives in the treetops of the Andes mountains. It features big eyes, red-orange fur, weighs about two pounds and is a little smaller than a house cat. It is the first mammal to be newly identified in the americas in 35 years.
