A year-long investigation pinpoints more than twenty people involved with a known drug dealer. The suspects are accused of making deals by phone.
Kenneth Pyke, Junior is in jail. But investigators say that didn't stop him from making deals. One year of investigations results in arrests of people who interacting with Pyke while he's in jail. Pyke is serving time for various crimes including manufacturing drugs to receiving stolen property.
Now, more than a two dozen people who interacted with him by phone are in trouble. Those who have been arrested are charged with "use of communications facility in facilitating the commission of violation of the Georgia controlled substance act."
Although the charges stem from Burke County, the accused from all over Georgia and one is from Columbia, South Carolina.
Fourteen people are still wanted. If convicted, each of the 27 people could face between one to four years in prison and a fine.
