Time for what's trending at 5:30...

A 1967 Ferrari Convertible sold for 27-and-a-half million dollars at an auction in California.
It's the highest price ever paid for any road car at auction.
The former owner says all the profits from the sale will go to charity.

If the criteria for a perfect mate includes....height, weight or hair color -- you may be single for a very long time. 
Researchers say don't make physical attributes your top priority.
They say personality checklists are far more productive.
For example, someone with integrity or intelligence or someone who is active or an animal lover.
Reseachers say stay flexible.....or you and your checklist -- could be spending many nights alone together.

Several inmates from a Florida correctional facility in the hospital after being injured in a riot.  The reason for the riot?  Cup of Noodles soup.  Seems there was a basketball game between some kids from St. Pete and some kids from Orlando.  The stakes...each kid had to give up his cup of noodles soup.  But St. Pete didn't give theirs up...and the riot ensued.


A school district in ohio has reversed course and will allow a 12-year-old girl to take the football field.
Makhaela Jenkins was previously told she wouldn't be able to play on the football team at liberty union middle school because she's a girl.
She and her family said they planned to fight the decision, and the american civil liberties union of ohio sided with them.
The Fairfield County school district changed its stance on Friday.
It issued a statement saying it would not waste tax dollars fighting this battle.
It reads in part -- quote -- "we have no intent of competing with the deep pockets of the A-C-L-U in any litigation situation in order to secure a favorable judgment.
Therefore, we will allow female participation in contact sports."
