Raleigh police make arrest in nightclub shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Raleigh police arrested a man they said was involved in a double shooting in downtown Raleigh early Friday morning.

Raleigh Police Department detectives charged Michael Adolphe Cadet, 29, with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, assault with a deadly weapon serious injury, discharging weapon into occupied property and discharging a firearm within the city limits in connection with the shooting.

Cadet has been transported to the Wake County Detention Center, according to police.

Two people were taken to the hospital after being shot at Bodi Night Club on S. West Street around 3:30 a.m., police said.

Hany Mousa Shehadeh, 35, of Rocky Mount, was shot in the face and Keshon Oneil Johnson, 23, of Charlotte, suffered a gunshow wound to the wrist, authorities said.

Both victims were transported the hospital.

Police are still investigating the incident.
