McCrory to speak to NC Board of Community Colleges

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Gov. Pat McCrory is scheduled to speak to the N.C. Board of Community Colleges.

The governor's appearance comes on Friday during the second day of the board's meeting in Raleigh.

According to a release, McCrory will speak to the board, then watch as three of his appointees are sworn in as new board members.

The meeting will also include the announcement of more than $200,000 in scholarship funds donated to the N.C. Community Colleges Foundation from AT&T and Duke Energy in honor of the 50th anniversary of the N.C. Community College System.
