Firefighters in North responded to a fire Wednesday afternoon located at 105 Savannah Pointe.

Firefighters got the call around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Officials tell WJBF News Channel 6's Mike Miller, nobody was in the home at the time of the fire. North Augusta Department of Public Safety officers say there were two dogs in the home at the time of the fire. One got out fine, but the other is unaccounted for.

We are told the dog that cannot be located is a 9-month-old Rottweiler/Golden Retriever mix.

We are told 5 people live in the house.
