Columbia County Sheriff's Office investigators have determined the cause of a house fire on Rainbow Street in Martinez to be a meth lab explosion.
Three people have now been arrested. They are identified as 24-year-old Blake Edward Barfield, from Clearwater, South Carolina; 40-year-old Kathleen Marie Stanford, of 3510 Rainbow Street; and 52-year-old Michael Anthony Russell, of 3510 Rainbow Street.
Russell was transported to a hospital, where he is being treated for minor burns he received when the meth lab exploded. Investigators expect him to be released from the hospital sometime Wednesday.
All three suspects will be charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

WJBF News Channel 6 has learned there is a house fire on Rainbow Street, off of Baston Road, in Martinez.
Columbia County Emergency Management Agency director Pam Tucker tells us Columbia County Fire Rescue crews have extinguished the flames, but she says crews will be at the scene for an extended period of time.
Fortunately, there were no injuries in the fire.
At this time, the cause of the fire has not been determined.
