Musician Darius Rucker received quite an honor in North Charleston.
A portion of Coliseum Drive has been renamed Darius Rucker Boulevard.
Rucker, has performed many concerts at the Coliseum as a solo artist and as the front man for
Hootie & the Blowfish.
The Mayor also declared, August 12, 2013 as "Darius Rucker Day" in the city of North Charleston.

Republican Senator John Mccain is called for jury duty.
The Arizona Senator made his way into the county courthouse in Phoenix Monday morning.....saying he was fulfilling his civic duty.
Senator McCain was initially picked for a jury panel, but was not ultimately selected for trial.

Think the lines are long at the DMV....well in arizona they are extra long after a theft.
The suspects made off with thousands of dollars worth of copper wire that powered major electrical systems at busy D-M-V office.
Officials estimate it'll cost Five thousand dollars to fix the electrical and A/C systems, stripped of valuable copper wire.

A new study shows that  only 74% of women are active in the U-S workforce.
26 -percent stay home because of a lack of family-friendly labor laws.
The U-S is also the only industrialized country in the world that doesn't mandate some kind of paid paternal leave.
The family and Medical Leave act, which passed in 1993, entitles workers to 12 weeks of unpaid leave, but only applies to 58% of American workers.
