Baker Avenue Burglary Suspect Sought

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is searching for a burglary suspect.

Investigators say, on Sunday at approximately 10:38 a.m., deputies answered a call to a residential burglary that occurred at 1321 Baker Avenue.

During the course of this burglary, a bicycle was reportedly stolen. The bicycle is described as a black Trek Model 820 Mountain Bike, 21 Speed, with 26" rims.

Investigators say there have been a large number of bicycle thefts within this area and surrounding streets. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to view the attached video footage, which shows an unknown black male suspect, 17- to 21-years-old, 5'6" to 5'7" tall. He was reportedly wearing blue shorts, no shirt, white tennis shoes, and a red baseball cap. The suspect is seen in the video footage walking around the incident location then fleeing the scene riding the stolen Trek Mountain Bike.
