Healthy South Aiken Hopeful for Big Things in 2013

Aiken, SC (WJBF) -- The South Aiken Thoroughbreds only won 2 games in 2012, but there's still reason for optimism in 2013.

Star quarterback Bo Baldwin was injured in the first half of their first game last year, and he missed the next 5 games. He also missed significant time in 2011 as well. Now he's feeling healthy and hopeful he can lead a resurgence under head coach Jeremy West.

The 6-6 Baldwin received a gray shirt offer from South Carolina and expects to get more looks from colleges. He will be joined by a veteran squad this year. The T-Breds return 7 starters on offense and 7 starters on defense.

The schedule certainly won't make it easy. Here's a look at the 2013 slate (all games start at 7:30):
