Grovetown Looks to Take Step up, Not Back

Posted: Updated:

Grovetown, GA (WJBF) -- Warriors coach Rodney Holder says he wants his team to improve on a 3-7 season in 2012. To do that, they'll have to find a way to replace electrifying senior quarterback and return man (and FFN Carolina Panthers ALLCSRA team member) Juwan Biggers. Biggers finished the season with over 1,500 yards of total offense. There is reason for hope since the Warriors were decent in region play last year going 3-4 in their first year in Region 2-AAAAA.

This is year 5 under Coach Holder. He says he's seen more underclassmen coming out for football each year. He thinks it's only a matter of time before the Warriors are annual contenders for the region title.
