Arrest Made In String Of Car Break-Ins In Aiken County

A suspect has been arrested in a string of car break-ins that occurred in the Woodridge Subdivision in Clearwater, South Carolina.

The suspect has been identified as 42-year-old Brian Lowry, of the 3000 block of Deans Bridge Road, in Augusta, Georgia.

Lowry was arrested in reference to a warrant from the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. He is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center. Lowry is also a person of interest in a string of vehicle break-ins that are being investigated by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office and by the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Aiken County Sheriff's Office at 800-922-9709. Individuals also should call Crimestoppers of the Midlands: 1-888-CRIME-SC. Callers can remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.
